I just came upon your blog and just wanted to pick your brain:) How do you do it? My husband has been called to the ministry and we have been fighting it tooth and nail for a few years now. Today I have felt the Lord showing me how selfish I have been as a wife and the Parable of the Great Banquet spoke right into my life. We have been asking God to please “excuse us from the banquet” because “we have a family”. I am a stay at home mom and have a 3 year old and a 13 month old. I trust the God will provide but I do not know anyone else who is in my situation. Do you have any encouragement for me?
Today I was looking for pictures of raindrops and found your site. I too was blessed by Laura Story’s song “Blessings” I lost my daughter in 2001, and through the roughest times in my life I could never imagine such pain. The tears that I cried were numerous, and it took me a while to find blessings in her death/or transition as I like to refer to it. I am now a student at Dallas Baptist University and am minoring in art. My chosen theme is Raindrops … Prisms of Color. I would love to know where you found the little raindrops that you have handing on the tree limbs of this picture. I would also love permission to paint this if you would allow. I was unsure if it is your photo or someone else. God Bless you in your writing. I write poetry too, and intend to write my biography some day as a tribute to what the Lord has brought me through. will keep you in my prayers for blessings upon you. Please respond to let me know if I am allowed to paint this picture, and where I might find these tiny raindrops. Thank you and have a Blessed day!
